Our Story
If you had told me 10 years ago that Joe would be the man I would spend the rest of my life with, I probably would not have taken you seriously! You see, Joe and I went to the same high school- Joe class of 2001 and I was class of 2002. We had different friends, different hobbies, what would seem like two totally different paths in life. Joe and I never spoke one word to each other throughout our high school years. After high school Joe went off to Marist where he earned a degree in Communications, and I tried desperately to figure out what was in store for myself, finally landing at Western Connecticut State University pursuing a degree in Social Science.
In the summer of 2005 Joe had graduated from Marist and made his way back home to Bethel. I was still attending WCSU and enjoying my class free summer. I had started hanging out with a new group of friends and enjoying endless days on the boat and fun nights with friends. And it’s all history from there…
Joe and I ran into each other one night while with friends (thanks Dan!), and have been inseparable ever since. We have been through many twists and turns in the last four years. Two and half years into our relationship we dove head first into remodeling our first home together and then 19 days after moving in, Joe proposed!!
Joe is currently working as a web developer at teamDigital, and I FINALLY graduated in May of 2009. I am working for an Orthopedic group and enjoying the medical field. Joe has, somehow, found the time in his busy schedule to build this beautiful website. Hopefully this site will be a convenient place to keep everyone updated on all our latest news and plans for our BIG DAY!
